2nd Annual Luncheon – "On the Wings of a Butterfly"

This was our annual luncheon to held at the La Jolla Marriott Hotel in La Jolla, California on September 25, 2010 at 11:00 am.

Guests enjoyed complimentary wine tasting from select vintners throughout the Southern California region. In addition, wonderful raffle items and silent auction items went home with some lucky winners.

There were also educational booths providing pertinent information about ovarian cancer. A sumptuous lunch was provided at 1:00 pm at which time guests had the opportunity to bid on some incredible live auction items. Of course, the program included SURPRISE ENTERTAINMENT.

 

Nine Girls Ask? Golf Tournament - Thursday, May 13, 2010

Enjoy a complete program of special events, 18 holes of golf (including cart), a delicious dinner, door prizes for each player, an awards banquet, plus many exciting opportunities.

There will be 144 golfers on 36 teams. The proceeds will benefit Ovarian Cancer Research.

Nine Girls Ask? Check Presentation - February 2010

Nine Girls Ask? for a cure for Ovarian Cancer presented UCSD Moores Cancer Center Ovarian Cancer Research Team a check for $42,000. The money was used to purchase a piece of equipment that counts cancer cells instead of the researchers having to count the cells themselves. This will help them save a significant amount of time.
